Former and Rarely Seen Players

** If anyone knows a former CSz player, or you are a former CSz player who would like to be added to this list for no particular reason, email: buffalo@comedysportz.com**

Mike Bauman

Though he has moved away to Chicago, Mike still smells like coffee.  Expensive coffee.  If he ever comes back to visit his poor mother, he could be seen as a Player, Mr. Voice or Referee.  Now ComedySportz of Chicago is exploiting his talents as Mike is a member of BattleProv.   We also hear he has a girlfriend.  Wish her luck.  Est. 1999.  Last seen: August 2005.
Jon Cesar "The Crowd Pleaser" Jon Cesar began his acting career in his early school days just to get out of class.  He eventually graduated from Performing Arts Academy and moved to Hollywood.  His stand-up comedy skills were molded by none other than Mitzi Shore (of The Comedy Store and Paulie's mother) and Ranarido Ray (of the BET).

Jon is currently roaming the wheat fields of Canada.  Wish him luck.   Est. 2004.  Last seen: early 2005.

Mark Condon Mark goes way back.  Waaaay back.  Almost one of the originals.  And now just shows up whenever he wants.  We hear he's directing an improv show with a political bent called "Cat Venom".   Mark also sometimes appears in Improv Buffet in East Aurora.  Re-est.: 2005.  Last seen: once in March 2007.
Geoff Crump When he still lived here, Geoff could be seen in Tony n Tina’s Wedding, The King and Queen’s Royal Feast and Another Night at Café Bison.  But now he's in Chicago and warping the people and improv performers of ComedySportz in the Windy City as a member of BattleProv.  He's also performing in a student-directed show at The Second City in Chicago and performing in a Dungeons & Dragons-style Harold.  He's got mucho charisma.  Est. 1998.  Last seen: August 2005.  May be back for the holidays.  He digs presents.
Kevin DiLucente, Jr. Kevin is a graduate of The University at Buffalo's theatre program.  Currently, he is a student at The Second City Toronto Training Centre and a member of the Conservatory Program there.  He has performed in many plays and musicals in the community.  Kevin is also a singer/songwriter for a local Buffalo band.  Yeah, yeah.  He's all that.  But can he dance?  Come find out!  Est. 1999.
Amy Falletta Amy is a Canisius College graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Theatre.  In addition to having worked both on-camera and behind-the-scenes for the college’s television station, Amy also had her own column for the campus’s newspaper.  She has worked with WKBW, PBS, and local Buffalo community theatres.  As an added bonus, Amy is single!  She can’t believe it, either.  She's also finally moved out of the family homestead and into a place of her own.  Now she'll have to get her own wooden duckies for her own front yard.  Not yet famous herself, Amy has met some celebs, including Rosie O’Donnell, Donny Osmond, and Barbara Walters.  Stop by and ask her about it!  Est. 2004.
Ellen Gallagher Ellen has traveled down the road and back again.  Her heart is true.  She's a pal and a confidant.  Est. 1995.  Re-est. 2006.
Gail Golden GAIL GOLDEN played CSz in Buffalo for 6 years and studied at Second City Toronto and Chicago City Limits. In 2001, she moved to Orlando where she was Cinderella's Fairy Godmother and had an improv character (streetmo) in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom. She is Macy's Mrs. Claus on NBC in the Thanksgiving Day parade and in THE YEAR OF GETTING TO KNOW US with Jimmy Fallon. Gail just moved to LA.
Eric Hand-Smith

Eric has formed more groups for improv than Eric Clapton has for music.  Two are Jamestown's The Unexpected Guests and more recently Improv Buffet in East Aurora.  Eric's been quite active in local theater, acting in plays such as Barefoot in the Part, Twelve Angry Men, The Importance of Being Earnest, and Stephen King's Misery.  He's also directed California Suite and Same Time, Next Year.  Eric is quite a character, but ladies, he's taken.  Sorry.  Est. 1998.

Jeremy Hardwick

As the youngest member of ComedySportz, Jeremy cites years of being a Loyal Fan to his quick wit and ease on stage.  Too bad he doesn’t know what a “record player” is.  Jeremy would like to add that he is single.  Seen only rarely now that he's in college and trying to keep a 1.2 GPA.  Est. 1999.  Last seen: Winter break, 2006.

Bryan Hayes BRYAN HAYES was proud to be Mr. Voice for CSz for 4 years. He performed at virtually every theatre in Buffalo including the Alleyway (Scrooge in Christmas Carol), the Kavinoky (many roles including Pickering in My Fair Lady), Musicfare (Herbie in Gypsy), and Buffalo United Artists (Baby Dance). Bryan toured in many Dramatic Solutions business theatre shows and in Wondermakers for Young Audiences and 2 SMART 2 START for Univera.
Brian Herberger

Brian is smarter than he looks.  He digs around in the couch for loose change to keep himself in high-fashion duds.

Currently, Brian is pursuing his stand-up comedy carrier and waiting for the day he turns 35 so he can run for President.  Fear for your lives.   Est. 2003.  Last seen: Featured Stand-Up Performer at The Comix Cafe April 2007.

Sue Jarrett Sue studied for over four years with the zen masters of comedy, Richard Lamb and Randy Reese. Citing her life long love affair with the Three Stooges (especially Moe), Daffy Duck and Jerry Lewis, she finds her greatest comedic inspiration in her two sons, Daniel and Bill. An alumni of both Hilbert College and Fredonia State and over thirty years in customer service related employment she brings a seasoned sense of humor and a fresh energy. On turning 50, she states, "I'm just gettin' warmed up!" Sue dedicates all her shows to Punker and Bootsie.. Est. 2007
Deb Kent Deb is a tough South Buffalo broad who has put up with more in the last year than you have in a lifetime, so deal with it!

She also has done a bunch of other theatre stuff, so deal with that, too!

She loves professional basketball players. Ask her about it sometime.

Est. 2005

Michael Kroll Michael is from Texas which means he's always cold here.  Even in July.   And now he's always cold in New York City, which is where he moved when he was chasing a skirt.  We hear he works for a fancy jewelry store as a Whipping Boy.  He's found his niche.  Est. 2004.  Last seen: August 2005.
Rich Lamb

Rich had been performing solo until he found the joy of ensemble with ComedySportz.  Rich worked for years as a stand-up comic, pizza delivery guy, hot dog vendor, country club manager and daddy.  He currently teaches The Comix Cafe Stand-Up Comedy 8-week Workshop.  Rich has got lots of patience.  Est. 1997.   Last seen: 2005.

Thad Malley Originally from Syracuse, Thad spent many years in college and now holds a bachelors in Civil Engineering, a masters in Economics and an advanced certificate in Financial Economics.  What has this to do with comedy?  Nothing.  But Thad was exposed to the performing arts by his grandmother,  a renowned opera singer, and he performed in the Drama Club in high school.  Thad is quite the dichotomy.  Est. 2004.  Last seen: 2006.
Renando Overton We remember when Renando was just the blue-eyed eye candy who helped tourists board the helicopter in Niagara Falls before he went to New York City (New York City?!) and became an actor and a personal trainer.  Stumbling across Renando on myspace, we are happy to remind loyal fanz that he was once one of ours.  Est. 1998.  Last seen: probably also 1998.
Frank Storace Check out that hard look in his eye and you know he's from the Big City: Rochester.  Frank occasionally comes to us from his own Rochester improv group, Nuts and Bolts.  He holds degrees in theater, has performed in and directed many plays, and those from Rochester may recognize Frank from local commercials where he does not have to dance "The Mixing Bowl".  Est. with us 2004.
Jon Tamblyn

Jon is Canadian.  He's got that accent down pat.  He is a graduate of The Second City in Toronto's Conservatory.  He's also got a tattoo from Japan, and he'd be glad to show it you, I'm sure.  Est. 2006.
Sally Thelen Sally received her Master's of Education at The State University of New York at Buffalo.  Previously, Sally ran the education program at Shea's Performing Arts Center in Buffalo for three years, teaching various theater workshops to children and teens.  She's also studied with Gotham City Improv in New York City where she also worked as a research intern at Saturday Night Live.  The left half of Sally's body appeared on the show as "Crazed Tina Turner Fan #6".  You're sure to recognize her hair.  Her stalker did!  Est. 2003.

Sally moved to Japan in March of 2007 to teach English.  We wish her well and hope to see her back on stage again!  Last seen: March 2007.

Erin Wallack-Crump Can you believe it?  Geoff and Erin got married in an elegant ceremony that concluded in the word, "Next!"  They're both still in Chicago.  Erin taught children's theater in WNY, and now she's molding young minds in the Midwest.   "No me duela, soy maestro!"  Est. 2004.  Last seen: August 2005.
